We've moved!

The Essential Ingredient Newcastle has relocated from the Junction Fair Shopping Centre to amazing new premises within the aptly named Cooks Hill. Our new warehouse-sized space on Darby Street places us right in the heart of Newcastle's food Mecca and has enabled us to take a welcome breath, spread our wings and dream big. Swinging cats a possibility, but not recommended.

The Lonely Planet listed Newcastle as one of the world's top-ten cities to visit and, with our deli, cafe and cooking school set to launch in early 2011 The Essential Ingredient will arguably be one of Newcastle's most exciting destinations.

Come in - be flabbergasted - and, once the shock wears off, enjoy a cruise around the shelves. You'll be astounded by the array of food, cookware and strange trinkets you never knew you needed.
